Renewable Energy Tour Kicks off Thursday visting biogas, waste to enegry, and solar arrays in Palm Beach and Broward.
The 2011 Florida Renewable Energy Tour is set to kick off this Thursday in the Palm Beach and Broward Counties. The Palm Beach/Broward Tour Stop is the first of 10 tour stops scheduled to visit cities and communities across the state. The purpose of the tour is to highlight job creation and local economic growth through widespread renewable energy development. The format of the tour is to visit renewable energy installations during the day, leading up to an afternoon Town Hall meeting with local and state elected officials, discussing renewable energy legislation in Florida.

Orlando Tour Stop announced in the 2011 Florida Renewable Energy Tour
The Florida Alliance for Renewable Energy (FARE) is excited to announce the final tour stop in the 2011 Florida Renewable Energy Tour with an afternoon Town Hall event at the University of Central Florida (UCF), which will be held on Saturday, February 26th, 2011. Serbia announces investments in RES

New Act Will Promote Production, Use of Energy from Renewable Sources
The Bulgarian Government approved a new bill on energy from renewable sources on Wednesday. It will be tabled for adoption in the National Assembly, the Government Information Service said.The bill was elaborated in accordance with Directive 09/28/EC on the Promotion of the Use of Energy from Renewable Sources, which sets national overall targets for the share of energy from renewable sources in gross final consumption of energy and in transport in 2020, BTA reported.
